The MPW is a compact automation workstation designed to increase parcel throughput and improve processing accuracy for lower volume requirements. It comes standard with key features that will automate the processing of parcels small and large with NTEP certified weights and dimensions. Automating the weighing and dimensioning of parcels increases processing speed and also reduces potential errors associated with manually keying in the data. The system is also an excellent solution for processing packages that are either too small or too large to convey. The workstation desk is included, and input conveyors can be added to the system for greater productivity.
The system scans packages to capture the tracking barcode and the packages are weighed and dimensioned. Through integration with the Interface SQL database, each package’s data is stored in the database. If a new final mile label is required, it is printed and the sort code is assigned to the package and delivered for routing assignment and final mile label creation. Labels are then printed by the MPW system label printer and applied to the package by the operator.

For example, our Customs Data Collection enhancement automates and streamlines international shipping compliance by capturing the name and address, goods, country of origin, and value at the same time that the package is processed for shipment.
The MPW can be scaled up over time. As throughput requirements increase, additional components can be incorporated. Automatic In-feed conveyors can be added for supplying parcels to MPW operators, and additional workstations can be added as needed.
